The company is the first investment of its kind by the IFC on the internet. This partnership afford Plantersbank the unique opportunity to deepen its relationship with SMEs by providing much needed Web-based solutions to help entrepreneurs manage businesses better, expand to new markets and be globally competitive. SME.com.ph is the recipient of the 2001 Asian Banking Award for e-commerce service.

PDB Properties, Inc.

PDB Properties is in the business of building and selling houses primarily to middle-income families, thereby, complementing Plantersbank’s efforts to assist in the development of affordable housing in the country. The surviving entity in the merger with Primavera Managers and Development Corporation, Resepico Realty and Development Corporation and Mil Flora Properties, Inc., PDB Properties has been successful in developing modest communities in Nueva Ecija, Bulacan and Rizal and today provides services to clients interested in real estate development.

PDB Insurance Agency, Inc. (PDBIA)

For over two decades now, PDBIA has been supporting and complementing Plantersbank’s banking activities. Through the SME Secure program, the bank clients are assured of a fully customized, cost efficient, prompt and competent servicing of their insurance needs. Their help desk responds to all requests of insurance advice and provides assistance from purchase of a cover, to renewal reminders and most especially, when claims need to be filed. PDBIA only deals with reputable providers in the industry.

PDB-FMO Development Center, Inc. (PDCenter)

PDCenter is a joint-venture of the Nederlandse Financierings Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingsladen NV (FMO) and Planters Development Bank. The PDCenter aims to strengthen the institutional delivery of credit and assistance to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through training and consultancy. It combines the more than four decades experience of Plantersbank in SME financing and the international expertise of FMO in development financing. PDCenter is a registered consulting firm of the Asian Development Bank.
