From the President of the Philippines
- Presidential Citation for MSME Development, the first such award conferred during the 2009 MSME Development Week by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, in recognition of Plantersbank’s Best Practices in providing access to finance.
From Asian Bankers Association
- 2005 Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award conferred on Plantersbank chairman Ambassador Jesus P. Tambunting for contribution in defining a market-driven, sustainable and profitable model of SME-oriented banking.
- Most Outstanding Marketing, PR and Brand Management for Plantersbank’s For the Entrepreneur, For the Filipino SME Advocacy Campaign
- 2005 Asian Banking Award in Human Resource Management for Spirituality at Work
From the Association of the Development Financing Institutions from Asia and the Pacific
- 2009 ADFIAP Distinguished Person of the Year conferred on Plantersbank chairman Ambassador Jesus P. Tambunting in recognition of his contribution as a visionary, advocate, capacity-builder and innovator of development finance.
- Regional Outstanding Development Project for Plantersbank’s SME Business Park in 2008
From the Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation
- 2012 Most Distinguished Partner and Most Valuable Institutional Partner in recognition of Plantersbank’s contribution helping the institution achieve its goals and targets in the pat year.
- Kaakibat sa Pag-unlad ng MSMEs in 2011 in recognition of the Bank’s outstanding performance and contribution under the financing and guarantee programs for the SME sector.
- Kabalikat ng MSMEs Award from 2007-2009, the highest honors bestowed on a participating financial institution under the SBCorp financing and guarantee programs.
- Kabalikat ng SB Award to a Distinguished Partner of the Small Business Corporation, given in year 2007.
- Gawad SME year 3 Hall of Fame Award in recognition for third straight year of consistent outstanding accomplishment in volume and quality of loans to SMEs
From the Land Bank of the Philippines
- 2009 Best CLF Program Partner – Thrift Bank Category
- 2008 Best CLF Program Partner – Thrift Bank Category
- 2007 Most Active Countryside Partner Award for SME/Micro Financing
- 2005 Hall of Fame Award for Countryside Lending and Most Outstanding Countryside Partner in the Thrift Bank Category

- Best Participating Financial Institution for the fifth consecutive year, given in year 2008
- 2008 Kabalikat ng Bayan Award
