Plantersbank employees mobilize to aid typhoon-stricken communities
Employees of Planters Development Bank and its affiliate companies PDB Insurance Brokers, Inc. and PDB Properties Inc. mobilized resources for the relief of communities devastated by recent typhoon-triggered floods and landslides in eastern Luzon.
Plantersbank employees donated a truckload of clothing and food supplies to the GMA Kapuso Foundation through the Philippine National Red Cross to support relief efforts in the areas ravaged by the typhoons.
“The response among Plantersbank officers and staff was immediate and overwhelming,” said Plantersbank executive vice president Lamberto P. Scarella, who heads the Pag-Asa Ngayong Pasko committee spearheading the relief drive. “The Plantersbank corporate family joins the rest of the nation in praying for the people in the areas hardest hit by the typhoons and look forward to the speedy rehabilitation of these communities and their local economy.”
