Plantersbank, the country’s lead bank for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) kicked-off this year’s SME Speaker Series with a gathering of entrepreneurs in Baguio City.
Entitled “Leading through Difficult Times: Why Survive When You can Thrive,” the SME Speaker Series is a fitting response to entrepreneurs who are in search of strategic ideas and the positive outlook needed to recognize opportunities amidst the global recession. The by invitation event featured renowned enterprise guru and author Francis J. Kong as resource speaker.
The series-which is geared towards the bank’s program of enabling entrepreneurs-will visit key cities throughout the country to help address issues faced by a growing number of Filipino entrepreneurs to help them realize their important role in shaping the landscape of the country’s economy.
